My best and most noted characteristic about myself is my creativity. I am a conceptualizer, visionary, and dreamer.

My skills range from acting, advertising, singing, and writing, to designing, drawing, photography/cinematography, and editing. I can sometimes be considered an “overachiever” because I put in a lot of time and effort to go “above and beyond” and produce what I feel is the best work.

My experience includes practice with several of the Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as InDesign (typography and layout program), Photoshop (photo editing and retouching software), Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing software), and Illustrator (graphic design program).

 

I have now performed basic photography camera work, and have a professional level understanding on how to use a camera/video camera, as well as several types of shot and framing techniques. I know how to identify different advertisement techniques, as well as, use them effectively in commercial advertising. I have some experience with Typography and working with grids, layouts, and fonts to create a visually appealing typed piece. I am familiar with the fundamentals of design, along with the creative process. I was introduced to audio and how we use it in the multimedia industry and basic html work was covered freshman year.

I consider myself successful, as well as, versatile, in the field. However, my weakness with understanding and completing html work was prominent freshman year. I have always performed better with the creative end of projects, opposed to the technical side.

I like to work with other people. I try to get everyone active and engaged in group/team activities. However, I also have the tendency to take control sometimes and consider myself a good team leader. Knowing I cannot always lead, I am also able to hold back and follow what I am instructed by others. I would be an asset to this organization because I have a lot of skills, good with public speaking, always trying to improve and make the project the best it can be.

 

The field is constantly expanding, so I persistently remind myself I still have a chance to make a mark and use some of my strengths and skills. I feel motivated and encouraged to better the multimedia world, and my own life, with my contributions.

My main goal in the search for a job and career is the ability to work freelance in a variety of different multimedia and creative fields. I want to work on as many jobs and projects as I can and utilize my diverse set of skills.
